Cancellation & Refund
The purpose of this Cancellation & Refund Policy is to describe the terms under which Purushottam Niwas, Puri (βweβ, βourβ, βusβ) handles cancellations, changes, and refunds. The moment you make a booking using any of the means- website, phone, WhatsApp, or email, you are bound by the following terms.
1. Booking Confirmation
We confirm a booking only after receiving the required payment or Purushottam Niwas confirmation. Such confirmation is always subject to availability.
Information related to the booking, including the cancellation policy, will be provided to you at the time of your booking.
2. Cancellation by Guest
Cancellation by the guests could be done by letting us know over the phone, email, or WhatsApp.
Cancellation is only effective once Purushottam Niwas acknowledges it.
The refund you may get depends on when you cancel and the type of booking you have.
3. Refund Policy
It may be that some reservations are refundable in full, in part or that they are non-refundable, the information will be given clearly at the time of booking.
The amount of refund and the right to it depend on how far the cancellation date is from the check-in date.
In the case of a refund, the money will be sent to you after deducting the charges, if there are any.
4. No-Show Policy
The case of a No-Show is when a guest does not come on the scheduled check-in date and has not cancelled the reservation beforehand.
A no-show means a complete loss of the paid amount unless the booking terms state otherwise.
5. Early Check-Out
Guests departing earlier than their scheduled departure date will not receive a refund for any unused nights, regardless of whether they notified management.
6. Cancellation by Management
In certain last-minute situations, Purushottam Niwas might have to cancel or change a booking, for example, safety or security risks, force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), and technical or operational problems.
When such a thing happens, we will let you know as soon as possible and refund the payment (if there is any) ββββββββββββββββaccordingly.
7. Refund Processing
Refunds that have been approved will be made through the original mode of payment whenever it is possible.
The time that it takes for a refund to be processed is dependent on the banks or payment gateways and it might take quite a few working days before you see the refunded amount in your account.
We shall not be held liable for any delays caused by third-party payment providers.
8. Non-Refundable Charges
There might be certain charges, such as payment gateway fees, service charges, or taxes (where applicable), that are non-refundable.
The details of these charges, if any, will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
9. Amendments to Bookings
Requests for date changes or modifications depend on availability and may sometimes be considered as a cancellation and rebooking, depending on the circumstances.
It is the guest's responsibility to pay for any tariff difference arising from the modification.
10. Policy Updates
Purushottam Niwas has the right to make changes to and update this Cancellation & Refund Policy whenever necessary. The most recent version will always be accessible on our website.
